Pine Valley Motel - Spruce Pine

I truly enjoyed nicely furnished and big room here.

The staff were very nice and amicable and the location was favourable in a safe area.

The room was comfy and wonderful, offered a microwave oven, a refrigerator, and a coffee machine. Overlooked garden. It was in a comfy location in a safe area. Plus, it was so close to restaurants and stores and convenience stores and the parkway.

The kitchenette was well-equipped for meal preparations.

The bedside lamp had a dead bulb, making it hard to read at night.

The motel is situated in a convenient location with lovely mountain views, ideal for enjoying the fall foliage. The Queen Room with Garden View was very nice. The parking area had been sprayed with tar, which ruined our shoes and inconvenienced us further as it ended up in our car. While the owners are actively trying to improve the place, the existing issues detracted from our experience.

During my recent stay, I enjoyed the spacious Queen room with garden views and appreciated the convenient location, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like Spruce Pine Gallery just 2.5 km away and the nature trails at Grassy Creek Falls, about 4.5 km from the hotel.

The room had a clean and spacious feel. I appreciated the cozy decor, comfortable. The kitchenette was a great convenience for preparing meals, and the mountain views were fine. A strong air freshener smell lingered, overwhelming at times. The bathroom lacked a towel rack. Staff seemed responsive, and I could easily connect to free WiFi. Some areas of the hotel showed wear, and more attention to detail would enhance the stay.

I enjoyed preparing meals in the kitchenette. The location provided access to local activities, and the views of the mountains. Being on a road trip with my partner, the free WiFi helped me stay connected with my family back in Italy.

There was a strong fragrance that lingered, and the bathroom lacked a towel rack. I mentioned these to management, who were receptive to feedback.

It was just an appropriate option for a weekend breather in Spruce Pine with very good value for money. I particularly liked the clean and spacious room, made me feel right at home. I'd recommend asking for extra pillows if you prefer something softer.
